President of the Republic, Lebanese counterpart hold talks in lounge of honor at Houari-Boumediene International Airport

ALGIERS- President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, held on Tuesday, in the lounge of honor at Houari-Boumediene International Airport (Algiers), talks with President of the Lebanese Republic, Joseph Aoun, who began an official visit to Algeria.

Earlier, the President of the Republic extended to his brother, the Lebanese President, an official welcome befitting the fraternal relations binding the two countries, in the presence of high state officials and members of the government.

After listening to the national anthems of both countries, the two Presidents reviewed detachments from various units of the People's National Army (ANP), which paid them honors, while 21 cannon shots were fired in honor of Algeria's guest.
